Privacy Policy

How SOHO Logics, Inc. collects, uses and protects the information you share through this website.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SOHO Logics, Inc. (“SOHO Logics,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit sohologics.com or contact us through it. If you have questions, call us at 469-212-0545 or email support@sohologics.com.

The short version

  • We collect only what you choose to send us, plus basic information that websites routinely log.
  • We never sell your information.
  • We use it to respond to your request and to provide the services you ask about.
  • Trusted service providers (such as our website host and email provider) process information on our behalf so we can run this website and our business.

Information you give us

When you use our contact or quote request form, we collect the information you enter:

  • Your name and email address (required)
  • Your phone number, company name, number of employees and topic (optional)
  • Your message
  • If you used our IT cost estimator before contacting us, a summary of the options you selected

If you call or email us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.

Our newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter (in the website footer, at the end of an article, or with a checkbox on our forms), we send your email address to Brevo, the email service we use for the newsletter. Brevo emails you a link to confirm, and you’re only added once you click it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours automatically receives some technical information when you visit:

  • Server and security logs. Our hosting provider records information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems.
  • Website analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type. We use this information in aggregate to improve the website.
  • Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google.
  • Cost estimator. The options you choose in our IT cost estimator are calculated in your browser. If you click through to request a quote, a summary is temporarily stored in your browser (session storage) so it can be included with your request. It is not sent to us unless you submit the form.
  • Email security checker. Our free email security checker looks up public records for the domain you enter directly from your browser, using Cloudflare’s or Google’s public DNS service and the public domain registration lookup at rdap.org, and checks whether that domain’s website loads securely. We don’t store the domains you check. If you choose “Email me this report,” we keep the email address and name you enter, the domain and its grade, whether you agreed to a follow-up and whether you asked for our newsletter, so we can send the report, contact you once about your results only if you agreed, and send the newsletter only if you asked for it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
  • Domain & Email Health Monitor. If you ask us to watch your domain, we keep your email address and name, the domain, whether you agreed to a follow-up and whether you asked for our newsletter. Nothing starts until you click the confirmation link we email you, and unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days. Once you confirm, our server checks the domain’s public records once a day (DNS records, its registration details at rdap.org and its website’s security certificate) and keeps the latest results and a short history of the emails we sent you. We use this only to email you when something changes or is about to expire, to send a short monthly status email, and to let us know when a watched domain has a problem, so we can contact you once about it only if you agreed. Every email has a link to stop watching the domain, and you can also ask us to delete your information at any time.
  • Cyber Insurance Readiness Check. Our free cyber insurance readiness check runs in your browser, and your answers are not sent to us unless you choose “Email me this report.” If you do, we keep the email address and name you enter, your result and which gaps it listed, whether you agreed to a follow-up and whether you asked for our newsletter, so we can send the report, contact you once about your results only if you asked, and add you to the newsletter only if you asked (Brevo emails you a link to confirm first). We don’t sell or share your answers.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, quote requests and support requests
  • Provide, manage and bill for the services you request
  • Communicate with you about your account or the services you use
  • Operate, secure and improve our website
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

AI-assisted tools

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools provided by third-party vendors to help organize, summarize, prioritize or draft responses to inquiries and support requests. A person at SOHO Logics reviews and is responsible for our communications with you. We aim to choose providers that offer business-grade privacy and security commitments, and we don’t share more information with these tools than the task requires.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers that help us run our website and business, such as our website host (SiteGround), our email provider (Microsoft 365), website security and email delivery services, analytics (Google), customer relationship management (CRM) tools and AI-assisted tools. They may process your information only to provide services to us.
  • Technology partners and vendors involved in delivering services you have asked us to provide, with your knowledge.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of SOHO Logics, our clients or others.
  • Business transfers, if SOHO Logics is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics), if enabled, to measure site usage
  • Functional cookies set by WordPress for site administrators when they log in

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will continue to work without these cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide services, maintain business records and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website, multi-factor authentication on our business systems and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete your information, subject to legal and business record requirements
  • Stop sending you marketing emails (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email)

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other websites

Our website may link to other sites, such as review sites or vendor websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
