SOHO Logics, Inc. wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites.
What we’ve done
Our website was designed and built with accessibility in mind. It includes:
- Keyboard access. You can navigate the site, menus, forms and the IT cost estimator using a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Skip link. A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation.
- Readable design. Text and interface colors are chosen for strong contrast, body text is at least 16 pixels, and pages resize and reflow on phones, tablets and zoomed-in browsers without sideways scrolling.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Clear structure. Pages use headings in a logical order and standard page regions, so assistive technologies can move through them easily.
- Accessible forms. Every form field has a visible label, required fields are marked, and error messages explain how to fix the problem and are announced to screen readers.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, scrolling animations are turned off.
- No auto-playing content. Nothing on the site plays sound or moves automatically in a way you can’t control.
Known limitations
We’re continually improving the website. Some areas may not yet fully meet our goal:
- Older articles imported from our previous website may have images without complete descriptions.
- Third-party content, such as embedded maps, videos or linked vendor websites, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
